Collaborate closely with the class teacher and interdisciplinary team to assess and monitor progress, adjusting instructional materials and techniques to cater to individual needs. Requirements: Prior experience working with individuals with profound and multiple learning disabilities in a school or care setting. Knowledge and understanding of various PMLD conditions and associated support strategies. Effective communication skills, with the ability to adjust communication methods based on individual needs. Compassion, patience, and empathy, coupled with a genuine passion for supporting students with complex needs. Flexibility and adaptability, as the role may involve working with students across different age groups and abilities. A valid enhanced DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) check or willingness to obtain one. Relevant qualifications, such as CACHE Level 2 or 3 in Supporting Teaching and Learning or equivalent.
