Audio Visual Business Development Manager Brief Overview of Role: My client is a rapidly expanding Audio-Visual integrator, and they are looking for an experienced AV sales professional to work from their IP20 offices Responsible for scoping, selling & preparing audio visual and collaborative solutions under the guidance of the Regional Sales Manager, target-driven and accountable. Audio Visual Business Development Manager Accountabilities Include: Knowledge & Key Skills Sales 50% Contacting and reviving dormant accounts Identifying and developing new business opportunities, either directly or via partners Prospecting accounts Responding to RFI/RFP/Tenders Sales Administration 40% Preparing and revising quotations with the sales team, using the CRM system Accurate reporting on activity and potential opportunities Follow up on quotes and proposals Suppliers 10% Product training Attending industry events Good Housekeeping Adherence to the client process and Quality Policy BTO attendance and observation Critical Success Factors: Achievement of agreed targets Building and enhancing effective relationships Effective management of customer needs and expectations Essential: Good communications skills Self-motivated and professional A desire to learn and improve skills and knowledge Ability to multitask, work under pressure, and to deadlines Fast learner, energetic, enthusiastic Adaptable and flexible to business demands Strong organisational and planning skills Positive ‘can-do’ attitude Team player Effective communication and presentation skills Ability to present proposals to individuals and groups in a compelling fashion Good numeracy and written skills Intermediate PC skills – Excel, Word, PowerPoint Desirable: 12 months Audio Visual sales experience Proven track record of achieving sales targets Package: Base salary: £35,000 – £40,000 dependent upon experience Commission On Target Bonus Pension Healthcare Dental Cover 28 days holiday, including the 8 bank holidays
