Job Overview Reporting to the Pre-Construction Manager, the post holder will be part of a team responsible for designing, pricing and issuing agreements for our customers. The role is responsible for supporting the Designers through pre-construction work and the Self-Lay and Delivery Teams through changes required at Pre-Construction phase. Maintaining safety, water quality and customer satisfaction is a must; you will work collaboratively across Developer Services Delivery to ensure that workflow processes are adhered to whilst accurately updating AutoCAD drawings to enable work to proceed smoothly and safely. Key Responsibilities Liaise with and ensure Fire Service requirements are updated on the design. Update Modelling & Networks departments once design is issued Be the point of contact for the Fire Services for new fire hydrants, ensuring all aspects of the process are followed Update design from Constructions teams following the Pre-Com Assist all levels of service and ensure customer satisfaction is high e.g. DMEX performance reporting metrics Support LIFE and Well-being across your team Support adherence to CDM across the design process Communicate with external stakeholders, e.g. local authorities, fire service, landowners to ensure an effortless experience for our customers Ensure all Budgets costs have been captured and correctly collated into the correct template Maintain consistency of process and standards across mains engineering Skills and Qualifications Educated to A level standard with appropriate specialist technical/engineering qualification or equivalent proven experience Experience with AutoCAD Awareness of operational processes – PE Pipe laying and jointing, Barrier Pipe jointing, Deep Excavations, Temporary Works, Service Avoidance, New Roads and Street Works Act Proven ability to manage information and data quality Able to demonstrate full commitment to exceptional customer care and service in all activities Awareness of legislation, particularly in relation to the Competition act, but also GDPR Effective team player with partnership type attitude to business relationships Commercial awareness Why Anglian Water?
