Junior Calibration Engineer – Hybrid Powertrain Focus
As part of our continued growth and success, FEV UK is thrilled to offer a fantastic opportunity to join our dynamic team as a Calibration Engineer on a full-time, permanent basis. FEV UK is the agile and fast-growing UK arm of FEV Group, one of the world’s largest and most respected automotive engineering consultancies. We deliver cutting‑edge solutions across the full spectrum of vehicle development—from design and analysis to prototyping, powertrain, transmission, calibration, and homologation. Our expertise spans advanced internal combustion engines, hybrid systems, and electric vehicles. This role is based at our customer’s site in the Midlands, Derbyshire, Cheshire and/or our brand‑new, state‑of‑the‑art facility in Coventry—a unique joint venture between FEV and Coventry University, designed to foster innovation and collaboration.

What You’ll Be Doing
* Assist in calibration and development tasks for hybrid powertrain systems.
* Collect and analyse test data to support issue resolution.
* Collaborate with senior engineers and cross‑functional teams to ensure technical alignment.
* Support validation activities and contribute to test trips.
* Learn and apply calibration tools and methodologies under guidance.
What You’ll Bring
* Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (or equivalent).
* 0–2 years of experience in powertrain or automotive engineering.
* Basic knowledge of calibration tools (INCA, CANalyzer) and data analysis software.
* Strong problem‑solving skills and eagerness to learn.
* Good communication and teamwork abilities.
Remote working/work at home options are available for this role.
Location: Coventry, United Kingdom (and other sites in the Midlands).
