A leading rail specialist in Derby is looking for a Project Planner to join them during a period of significant expansion. This isn't a role where you will simply follow a manual; it’s an opportunity to put your own stamp on the planning function. You will be instrumental in bridging the gap between workshop production and high-level project milestones, helping to navigate "the grey" as the business implements new QMS processes and scales its operations. Responsibilities: Maintain and evolve detailed project plans, ensuring alignment between ERP (Sage) data and MS Project schedules. Take ownership of work order management, ensuring accurate tracking of overhaul activities and vehicle maintenance. Actively support risk management and Estimate at Completion (EAC) reporting to drive informed decision-making. Identify inefficiencies in current planning workflows and propose/implement continuous improvement initiatives.
