The Role
We are seeking a Senior Mechatronics Engineer to join the Aero Innovation team within the Motorsports Aerodynamic Department. Your primary responsibility will be to develop mechatronics systems that enhance the productivity and capabilities of our aerodynamics development processes for both motorsport and high-performance production vehicles. As part of our multi-disciplinary team, you will design, develop, and optimize solutions to address technical and engineering challenges. Your role is crucial in contributing to our competitiveness.

What You’ll Do
* Design, develop, and integrate complex mechatronic systems for automotive and aerodynamic testing.
* Create detailed system architectures and specifications meeting product requirements.
* Collaborate with mechanical, electrical, and software engineers to develop solutions.
* Work with external suppliers to evaluate and select components and technologies.
* Conduct system testing, analysis, and debugging to ensure performance and reliability.
* Oversee delivery of prototypes and production solutions, including mechanical design, PCB layout, firmware/software integration, and testing.
* Prepare and present technical reports and specifications to stakeholders.

What You’ll Need (Required Qualifications)
* Bachelor's degree in Mechatronics, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
* 5+ years of experience in mechatronics engineering with a proven track record.
* Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, and software integration, and multidisciplinary system design.
* Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., Siemens NX, CATIA).
* Experience with embedded systems, microcontrollers, and programming languages (C, C++, Python).
* Hands-on experience with sensors, actuators, control systems, and power electronics.
* Ability to multitask in a dynamic environment with strong organization, collaboration, and communication skills.
