Job Opportunity: Play & Community Worker at Norley Hall Adventure Playground
Location: Norley Hall Adventure Playground, Wigan, WN5 9TU
Hours: 24.7 hours per week

Your Role
Adventure Playgrounds are unique, staffed, open-access play facilities where children and young people can enjoy engaging in play activities within their neighborhoods. As a key team member at Norley Hall Adventure Playground, which is opening in May 2025, you will support the Play & Community Co-ordinator in delivering services and activities for children and families.
About You
You should be compassionate, fun, fair, calm in crises, and capable of handling challenging behavior and safeguarding concerns appropriately. Experience working with children and young people from 0-18 is essential. Flexibility is required to adapt activities to community needs, working both indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions. The role involves regular evening and weekend work, so flexibility with work schedules is important.
