Working Days: 4 days per week (Monday to Thursday preferred)

Contract Type: Long-term, term-time only
Salary: £110-£115 per day (depending on experience)
Prospero Teaching is seeking a creative and organised Art Technician to support the Art Department in a vibrant secondary school in Sheffield. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a passion for the arts and a keen eye for detail to play a key role in supporting students and staff in a dynamic learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and maintain art materials, tools, and equipment for lessons.
Assist teachers in setting up and clearing away resources for practical sessions.
Support students during practical work, ensuring a safe and productive environment.
Manage stock levels and order supplies as needed.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation in the art rooms and storage areas.
Assist with displays and exhibitions of student work.
Requirements:
Previous experience in a similar role or a background in art/design is desirable.
Strong organisational and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
A proactive and flexible approach to supporting the department.
Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willing to apply for one).
