Are you a strategic thinker with a strong background in NHS procurement and contract management? Our client, a progressive GP surgery with a newly developed theatre suite, is looking for a Business Development Manager to drive the growth of their community surgery services.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a forward-thinking healthcare provider at a pivotal time in their expansion. You’ll play a key role in securing NHS contracts, managing tenders, and ensuring the theatre suite operates at full capacity with profitable, patient-focused services.
?? Key Responsibilities:
* NHS Contract Acquisition:Identify, pursue, and secure NHS contracts for community surgical services. Build strong relationships with NHS procurement teams and stakeholders.
* Tender Management:Lead the preparation and submission of high-quality tenders, ensuring compliance and competitiveness.
* Commercial Strategy:Provide expert commercial support across the contract lifecycle. Navigate complex contractual negotiations to secure favourable terms.
* Stakeholder Engagement:Represent the organisation in external meetings and negotiations. Act as a key liaison with NHS bodies, suppliers, and partners.

* Proven experience in procurement, contract management, and negotiation—ideally within the NHS or healthcare sector
* Strong understanding of NHS frameworks, healthcare regulations, and tendering processes
* Excellent interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills
