Exciting opportunity to work for a leading FM Service Provider in London. CBW are looking for a reliable and skilled Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join our clients commercial building services team. As a Electrical Engineer, you will be responsible for a portfolio of commercial buildings, to ensure both planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance are carried. The successful candidate will hold recognised mechanical qualifications and have a proven track record in commercial building maintenance. This will be for Landlords and tenants and will be client facing. The building is known for its modern offices, green spaces, and strong community, hosting 65+ companies and 2300 employees, offering amenities like gyms, cafes, networking hubs, Perfect for engineers who thrive on variety and problem-solving across technically demanding environments.
What You’ll Be Doing:
Providing technical support for plant replacement and shutdown programmes
Completing unfinished jobs and resolving outstanding technical issues
Supporting PPM and reactive maintenance tasks across all M&E plant
Responding to callouts and supporting concessionary stores and fabric issues
Ensuring subcontractors work safely and within contract standards
Operating under Permit to Work systems and maintaining H&S compliance
Supporting small works and project teams where required
Monitoring BMS systems and maintaining building environmental standards
Working flexibly to support coverage across holidays and absence periods
Keeping Maximo and logbooks up-to-date with accurate documentation
Assisting in proactive risk assessments, near miss reports, and safety compliance

What You’ll Need:
18th Edition qualification
C&G/NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Engineering
Strong technical background in commercial building maintenance
Excellent fault-finding skills and the ability to take ownership of issues
Comfortable working solo and as part of a mobile team
Strong understanding of H&S procedures including LOTO and PTW
Professional and reliable with a high level of personal initiative
Flexible attitude to support a wide spread of sites and tasks
