Commercial Drainage Engineer
Location: Manchester | North West | North East
Salary: £30,000 - £39,000 + Overtime + Company Van
A well-established, family-run drainage and facilities contractor with over 35 engineers nationwide is expanding its Northern team. Due to continued contract growth across Manchester and up to Newcastle, we are now recruiting an experienced Commercial Drainage Engineer to join a stable, long-term business serving major commercial clients.
This role is purely commercial drainage - no domestic quick-fix work. You'll work across hotels, airports, retail, healthcare, and hospitality environments.
The Role - Commercial Drainage Engineer
* Carry out reactive drainage works on commercial properties
* Blocked drains, high-pressure jetting, repairs, and fault finding
* Planned preventative maintenance
* Emergency callouts within agreed SLAs
* Covering a regional patch (Manchester & North)
* Work independently with full support from head office

What We're Looking For
* Proven experience as a Commercial Drainage Engineer or Drainage Technician
* Commercial drainage background preferred
* Strong reactive fault-finding ability
* Comfortable working across multiple commercial sites
* Full UK driving licence
* No formal qualifications required - experience and attitude are key
