Class 1 Driver

Pay: £51,220.00-£52,870.00 per year
DUKE Distribution is expanding and we are currently recruiting reliable, professional Class 1 (C+E) HGV Drivers to join our growing team.
This is a full-time, Monday to Friday tramping role with a minimum of 4 nights out per week. Regular weekend overtime is also available for drivers who would like additional hours.
Our work includes mainly flat trailers, with opportunities to operate curtain siders and step frames, offering a varied and interesting workload.
Pay & Benefits
£14.00£14.50 per hour (MondayFriday) dependent on experience
£21.00 per hour (Saturday & Sunday)
£30.00 per night out
Weekly compliance bonus
Additional bonuses for Step Frame and Moffett work
Guaranteed minimum hours for weekend shifts
6-hour minimum payment for Saturday run-ins
8 hours paid for weekend overtime shifts

Requirements
Valid C+E (Class 1) licence
Up-to-date Driver CPC
Digital tachograph card
Moffett and IPAF tickets preferred (training may be available for suitable candidates)

Job Description:
Were growing our team and are on the lookout for reliable, hands-on Site Operatives to support our HGV drivers on jobs across the country.
This is an active, outdoor role where no two weeks look the same. One job you might be helping deliver temporary access roads for major construction projects, the next you could be setting up infrastructure for festivals, live events, or large-scale outdoor sites.
If you enjoy physical work, travelling, and being part of a close-knit team, this could be a great fit.
Day-to-Day Tasks
Helping install and remove temporary aluminium trackway
Supporting HGV drivers with loading and unloading equipment
Making sure tools, vehicles, and work areas are kept tidy
Following site health & safety rules and instructions
Working closely with supervisors to keep projects on schedule
Using basic hand tools (training provided)
Based in Worksop and working nation wide around the world UK, you will be required to work away Monday - Friday and paid £30 per night allowance when staying out
