Are you passionate about building a career in Human Resources? We’re looking for a proactive and detail-oriented HR Intern to join our People Success team in Oxford for a 12 month fixed term internship.
This is an exciting opportunity to gain hands‑on experience across the full employee lifecycle while working in a fast‑paced, collaborative environment.
About the Role
As an HR Intern, you’ll play a key role in supporting day‑to‑day People operations. You’ll work closely with the wider team to deliver a seamless employee experience, from onboarding through to offboarding, while developing your skills in HR administration, coordination, and communication.
Key Responsibilities
* Support HR administration across the full employee lifecycle
* Maintain accurate employee records and HR systems
* Assist with interview scheduling and candidate coordination
* Carry out background checks and onboarding documentation
* Support employee inductions and liaise with line managers
* Draft HR correspondence (e.g. promotions, role changes, payroll inputs)
* Assist with monthly payroll data collation
* Prepare and manage HR communications (emails, letters, calendar invites)
* Support performance review and objective‑setting processes
* Help organise internal events and employee engagement initiatives
* Ensure HR data accuracy and compliance with audit standards
* Provide general administrative support as needed
About You
* Passionate about HR, Talent Acquisition, or People Operations
* Strong written and verbal communication skills
* Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
* Confident coordinating tasks and working with multiple stakeholders
* Proficient in Microsoft Office
* Able to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast‑paced environment
* Discreet and professional when handling confidential information
Although not essential, it is ideal that you have previous administration experience and/or are working towards a CIPD qualification.
