Stantec is experiencing significant growth in our water sector, and we are currently seeking expressions of interest from Structural Engineers interested in joining us in the Midlands in the coming weeks and months.
As a member of our Structural Engineering team, you will lead the delivery of high-quality structural engineering projects across various sectors. You will partner with our clients across the UK and play a key role in exceeding their requirements through technical project delivery.
You will report directly to our Specialist Structural Engineering Technical Lead, developing our structural knowledge and capability, and supporting internal opportunities in sectors beyond water and energy.
This role is based in one of our Midlands offices, with hybrid working between office and home anticipated.
You will carry out structural engineering design for concrete, steel, and masonry structures, as well as structural inspections and producing accurate reports to define asset maintenance and modification requirements to meet client and regulatory standards.
About You
You should have previous structural design experience, a good knowledge of civil and geotechnical engineering, and an awareness of other engineering disciplines to enable collaborative working across Stantec.
Knowledge of construction, both temporary and permanent, and understanding of the information needs of construction teams in design & build projects, is also essential.
