We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior HR Consultant to play a key role with in our Payroll, Benefits & pension Team to manage end-to-end payroll operations, ensuring accurate, timely, and compliant salary payments for all staff and all 3rd party payments.
Exciting opportunity available within our HR Payroll, Benefits & Pension team as we are recruiting for 1 permanent position. Working pattern for position is Monday to Friday.
As an integral part of the HR team the post holder will lead a specialist team of Payroll, Benefits & Pension specialists to ensure delivery of the payroll/benefit services and operations to employees, managers and external customers. Additionally, the post holder will support the ongoing development of services (including the ongoing development of the benefits platform) and provision to colleagues to drive continuous improvement. The post holder will deliver regulatory compliance with statutory bodies through robust controls and measures, whilst also fulfilling high levels of accuracy and customer satisfaction. In addition, they will support wider HR projects and initiatives that support the Councils strategic objectives.
The ideal candidates will have a strong customer focus and a flexible approach with the ability to work in a demanding deadline driven environment.

Our salary range typically reflects the initial starting salary and annually increases until it reaches the top of the range.
