Job Title: Purchase Ledger Clerk Location: Nottingham Salary: £26,000 - £28,000 Type: Full-Time, Office Based
We are currently looking for a Purchase Ledger Clerk to join a busy Accounts team in Nottingham City Centre. This is predominately an office based role, with 1 day working from home once training has been completed.
Responsibilities:
Matching, batching and coding of invoices
Reconciling supplier statements
Investigate and resolve queries/discrepancies
Deal with suppliers both on the phone and by email
Handle the accounts inbox daily
Manage the petty cash
Process expenses claims
Manage the company credit cards
Prepare financial reports as required
Any other ad-hoc duties as reasonably required
Requirements:
1-2 years' experience in Purchase Ledger
Strong MS Office skills, particularly Excel
Excellent communicator at all levels
Good organisation and time management
Keen attention to detail, with a problem solving mind-set
Flexible and adaptable, team player
