Overview
Gynaecology Assessment Unit Clinical Nurse Specialist/Sonographer. This role involves managing shifts, overseeing all aspects of patient flow, and providing comprehensive care to service users in the early pregnancy and acute gynaecology setting. The successful candidate will work as an autonomous practitioner, accountable for decision-making and providing advice and resources for patients and health professionals.
Responsibilities
* Manage shifts, ensure efficient patient flow, and deliver high quality care to service users.
* Initial history taking, clinical assessment, requesting tests and investigations, diagnosis, treatment, evaluation of care, and early pregnancy ultrasound assessment.
* Contribute to continual quality improvement and the development of clinical standards in the GAU.
Qualifications and Skills
* Highly motivated and driven; advanced communication and leadership skills.
* Significant nursing experience in gynaecology and early pregnancy settings.
