Dental Receptionist required to work between our sites in Wokingham and Bracknell. We are proud of the excellent service we are able to offer our patients and are looking for a dynamic Receptionist and an ambitious individual to join our team. Our practices are located within 5 minutes walk from Bracknell train station and within 10 minutes from Wokingham train station.
Hours:
* Monday- 08:00- 16:30
* Tuesday- 10:00- 19:00
* Wednesday- 08:30-17:30
* Thursday- 10:00- 19:00
* Friday- 07:45- 16:15
* 1 Saturday morning per month on a rotational basis
General Purpose
Attend to patients on the phone and in person. Co-ordinate and organise appointments and administration to facilitate the efficient running of the orthodontic practice.
Main Job Tasks, Duties and Responsibilities:
* Greet patients
* Register new patients following established protocols
* Assist patients to complete all necessary forms and documentation
* Verify and update patient information
* Inform patients of orthodontic procedures and policy
* Move patients through appointments as scheduled
* Enter all relevant patient information into our data system
* Maintain and manage patient records in compliance with privacy and security regulations
* Answer and manage incoming calls
* Respond to incoming practice emails
* Respond and comply to requests for information
* Schedule patient appointments
* Confirm upcoming appointments and recalls according to practice protocol
* Check daily appointment schedule
* Collect and receipt payments from patients at time of treatment
* Inform patients of financial treatment plan options
* Arrange payment schedule with patients
* Sort and distribute incoming and outgoing post
* Monitor and maintain inventory of orthodontic office supplies
* Maintain a professional reception area
* Safeguard patient privacy and confidentiality
Required Education and Experience
* General education degree or high school diploma
* General knowledge of computer systems and office type applications
* Knowledge of general administrative and clerical procedures
