Overview
Due to additional funding, there is an opportunity to expand the Special school and complex needs nursing team in Redbridge. We are looking for registered Paediatric nurses who will work as a member of the Specialist School Nursing Team, supporting a defined caseload of children and young people aged 3–19 years with complex healthcare needs and disabilities within the community and school settings. You will assess, manage, plan and deliver care, being professionally and legally accountable.
The post holder will work in schools with children with a range of learning disabilities and complex health needs, in partnership with other professionals and agencies to meet identified care needs. The nursing team establishes and maintains effective communication, working closely with parents and carers, education and other agencies to help children achieve their full potential in school.
If you enjoy caring for children with complex needs of all ages, in a growing and dynamic team, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.
