Qualifications
* Experience in Quality Assurance within the construction/civil engineering industry
* Experience in QA Procedures and Controls (ITP’s, Specifications)
* Being observant and analytical
* Communication and dependability
* Information technology and safety
* HND/ Degree in Engineering Discipline desirable.
Responsibilities
* Using bespoke production software (SDS) to link all aspects of segment quality control, which include keeping accurate quality records and updating the database.
* Delivery of the infrastructure sub‑division assurance plan
* Trending and reporting of the sub‑division quality performance
* Support the "get it right to improve productivity" initiative
* Driving the capture and implementation of lessons learned
* Checking and approving completed reinforcement cages against relevant segment reinforcement drawings
* Determining the concrete strength of cast segments
* Establishing repair requirements and coordinating the repairs
* Undertaking finishing inspection of the segments to determine acceptance or rejection
* Liaising with the Segment Production team and Quality Manager
* Producing weekly quality report for the production team
* Any other specific projects/tasks given by the Quality Manager
