Human Resources / Business Administration Officer
Permanent contract for a candidate with suitable experience/qualifications from 1 September 2026.
Salary Band F, Scp 7-10 (full-time F7 £26,403 to F10 £28,142 by annual increments) for 22.50 to 30 hours per week (TBC) for 39 weeks of the year (term-time only, plus five days). Hours to be agreed, but actual paid salary after pro rata would be: £13,749 for 22.50hrs / £18,332 for 30hrs.
We require an experienced HR and Business Administrator, used to working in a professional environment, to support and assist the Human Resources Manager and Governance and Compliance Manager to provide an efficient Human Resources and Business Administration function at the school, support for the Headteacher and Senior Leadership Team, and to be a strong support for the staff, parents and pupils.
Candidates should have good previous experience of high-level clerical and administrative work in a human resources, school or other professional environment. They should be able to work to deadlines, have a flexible approach to work and possess excellent communication and organisational skills.
The ideal candidate will be energetic, organised and proactive, with a good imagination and flexibility at their heart - schools are fast-paced and dynamic environments and this role is at the centre of the organisation. Previous experience of working in a school would be advantageous.
