About the Role

We are looking for experienced Learning Support Assistants to join our team at Heath Farm School. As a Learning Support Assistant, you will support our teachers to take a creative approach to teaching pupils according to their educational needs, maximising pupils’ achievement and development. This is a great opportunity for someone starting or continuing a career in Education, motivated to inspire learning in pupils with varied and complex needs. You will work in a school that maintains a strong safeguarding culture, where pupils are listened to, respected and involved in decisions where possible.

You will work with individuals and small groups, prepare classrooms and materials, build positive relationships with pupils to promote interaction and learning, and support the planning and delivery of lessons in a creative and positive setting. Previous experience in an SEN/ASC environment is desirable, but excellent support skills, motivation, resilience and the right attitude are important. This role may suit people transitioning from customer-facing roles looking to make a difference to pupil outcomes. Educated to GCSE grade C or above in Maths and English, you will be calm, engaging, resilient, collaborative, and motivated to help every pupil reach their potential.
