About the Role
Tradewind Recruitment are seeking a passionate and dedicated Female Physical Education Teacher to join a thriving secondary school in Corby. This is an exciting opportunity to inspire students, promote healthy lifestyles, and contribute to a strong and supportive PE department.
This role is open to both experienced teachers and ECTs who are committed to delivering high-quality physical education across Key Stages 3 and 4 (Key Stage 5 desirable but not essential).
Key Responsibilities
1. Deliver engaging and inclusive PE lessons across a broad curriculum
2. Encourage participation, teamwork, and a positive attitude towards physical activity
3. Plan, prepare, and assess student progress in line with national curriculum standards
4. Support extracurricular sports and school competitions
5. Maintain a safe and inclusive learning environment
Requirements
6. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
7. Specialism in Physical Education
8. Ability to teach girls' PE (this is a genuine occupational requirement in line with Equality Act 2010)
9. Strong classroom management skills
10. A passion for sport, fitness, and student development
