Business Development Manager Staffline Ireland are recruiting for a Business Development Manager on behalf of a leading food company. The Business Development Manager will be responsible for spearheading sales growth and expanding market presence. You will play a pivotal role in shaping the business development strategies and driving revenue growth. Responsibilities: Develop and execute comprehensive business development plans to achieve and exceed sales targets, with a focus on expanding the customer base and driving revenue growth. Utilize your expertise in creating detailed reports and analyse sales data, market trends, and customer preferences. Use this data-driven approach to identify opportunities and inform strategic decisions. Lead and inspire the van-sales and distribution teams, providing guidance, coaching, and support to ensure their success. Conduct thorough market research to identify emerging trends, competitive landscape, and potential clients. Leverage this information to develop targeted sales strategies. Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with existing and potential clients, understanding their needs and providing exceptional customer service to ensure their satisfaction. Monitor and analyse key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess sales performance and develop actionable insights for continuous improvement. Collaborate with the marketing team to design and implement effective promotional campaigns and initiatives that support business development efforts. Act as a brand ambassador to network, showcase the products, and generate leads. Any other duties role may involve. Person Specification: Proven track record of success in sales and business development ideally within the fresh food industry, with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience. Proven track record in identifying and winning new business. Excellent customer focus, communication skills and ability to build rapport with customers and the team. Proficient in creating detailed reports and utilizing computer skills to analyse sales data and market trends. Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate our value proposition to clients and stakeholders. Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities, with a results-oriented mindset. A passion for the baked goods industry and a deep understanding of the market and customer preferences. Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field (or equivalent work experience). A full, clean driving licence. The Rewards The successful Business Development Manager will enjoy a competitive salary circa £45,000 - £50,000 depending on experience plus Car or Car Allowance and Bonus.
