Key Responsibilities: Support class teachers in delivering engaging and effective lessons in line with the National Curriculum. Confidently lead small group interventions, including targeted support for literacy and numeracy. Deliver and support the Read Write Inc. phonics programme, helping children develop strong reading and writing skills. Assist in planning, preparing, and delivering engaging activities and resources tailored to students' needs. Provide one-to-one support to pupils, including those with additional needs, to ensure all learners make progress. Promote a safe, inclusive, and nurturing environment that supports the school’s values and ethos. What We’re Looking For: Recent experience working in primary schools or nurseries. A strong understanding of the school curriculum, including phonics and early years education. Confidence and experience in leading small group activities and supporting children with varied learning needs. Training in Read Write Inc. and experience implementing phonics programmes. A proactive, passionate, and team-oriented attitude, with a commitment to fostering a positive learning environment. A Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent). OUR PROMISE TO YOU!
