Maintenance Operative : The role is responsible for the upkeep, repair, and general maintenance of buildings, equipment, and outdoor grounds to ensure a safe, clean, and functional environment. Key activities: Perform routine maintenance tasks on facilities on the farm, packing centre and site Maintain outdoor areas: mowing lawns, trimming hedges, planting, and seasonal landscaping. Inspect and maintain tools, machinery, and equipment. Ensure pathways, parking areas, and grounds are safe and free from hazards. Carry out painting, cleaning, and basic construction tasks as needed. Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergencies. Always comply with health and safety regulations. Previous experience in maintenance, groundskeeping, or similar roles. Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical systems, and general repairs. Ability to operate groundskeeping equipment (mowers, trimmers, etc.). Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills. Physical stamina and ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions. Good communication and teamwork skills. Combination of indoor and outdoor work. Requires PPE and adherence to safety protocols. May involve occasional weekend or emergency call-outs. What can we offer you?
