Are you passionate about supporting young people in their education and helping them reach their full potential? We are seeking a Teaching Assistant who can also step up as a Cover Supervisor when required, to join our team working across client schools in Tameside and Central/South Manchester.
About the Role
* Provide classroom support to teachers and pupils across a range of subjects.
* Assist with lesson preparation and delivery, ensuring a positive learning environment.
* Work with small groups or individual students to support learning and development.
* Act as a Cover Supervisor during teacher absences, managing the classroom and delivering pre-prepared work.
* Promote positive behaviour and uphold school policies.
Requirements
* Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant or Cover Supervisor is desirable, but graduates without school experience are welcome.
* Strong communication and organisational skills.
* Ability to manage a classroom confidently and maintain a safe, productive environment.
* A genuine passion for education and supporting young people.
* Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
