Field Engineer (Mechanical) - Nuclear Project Seeking a detail-oriented and confident professional to join our team as a Field Engineer (FE). This hands-off role focuses on observation, data capture, and reporting. Perform quality assurance (QA/QC), documentation reviews, punchlist checks, and ensure joint integrity. Manage surveillance outcomes, attend meetings, and professionally challenge contractors when required. Record and save findings systematically for distribution to Construction and Quality teams. Maintain knowledge of specifications (ISO9001, BTS, BST, etc.) and processes like NCRs/ITPs. Requirements: General experience in mechanical installations and QA/QC processes (e.g., alignment checks, torque control, FME, etc.). Proficiency in Microsoft tools (Outlook, Excel, SharePoint, Teams, PowerPoint). Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. Mechanical qualifications or equivalent experience (5 years preferred). Team-oriented mindset with adaptability to work across quality, construction, and surveillance scopes. Role Details: 75% site-based, 25% office-based. No physical work involved—ideal for candidates seeking a foundational surveillance role lasting 24-36 months.
