We are seeking a proactive and innovative teacher for our agriculture and science departments.
We are seeking an energetic and innovative teacher of Agriculture who is passionate about working with young people and can develop strong, mana-enhancing relationships with ākonga, whānau and kaiako. We are looking for a team player who is unafraid of taking risks. You will need to be flexible, have a growth mindset and be committed to providing rich authentic learning contexts in an integrated way across curriculum areas. Additionally you will be:
* Trained and qualified teacher, with current NZ teacher registration.
* Able to work as part of an effective team.
* Knowledgeable and understanding of the New Zealand Curriculum.
* Have good interpersonal and communication skills.
* Able to motivate and enthuse young people to learn.
* Able and willing to contribute to the wider life of the school outside the classroom.
* Having the ability to teach mathematics to Y11 would be an advantage.
