ANZUK Education are looking for teaching assistants to work within some of our incredible SEMH schools on a part-time, full-time or day-to-day basis.
ANZUK education are working with one of our partner schools in Dorking, Surrey to find a Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) Learning Support Assistants (LSA), or LSA's with the willingness to learn more about working with SEMH students. This is a specialist school for boys aged 9-16 with SEMH needs.
Pay: £102.60 - £119.70 per day, Umbrella (PAYE option available)
Location: Dorking, Surrey
Availability: Monday - Friday, Monday - Wednesday or Wednesday - Friday
The ideal candidate will:
Have experience working with children with SEND, particularly SEMH
Be calm, patient and have a proactive approach
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
A genuine passion for supporting vulnerable learners
Team Teach training (desirable, but not essential) Key Responsibilities:
Support students with SEMH and additional learning needs
Promote positive behaviour and emotional wellbeing
Deliver 1-1 and small group interventions
Assist with classroom activities and adapt materials as needed
