Overview
Expleo is a leading Global Engineering Services Provider with UK presence in 10 locations. We are seeking a Senior Electronics Engineer to work with our client, at Belfast. In this role the successful candidate will be working alongside a team of multidisciplined Engineer working on cutting edge defence products.
As a Senior Electronics Engineer you will be expected to design of state-of-the-art electronic systems that deliver world-class performance. Your role will span the entire product lifecycle from design requirements capture and analysis through to defining the system architecture and designing, building, testing and verifying that the solution meets the customer\'s requirements.
We are looking for an energetic and driven individual with broad expertise, however of particular interest would be candidates with aerospace or military experience.

Responsibilities
The Senior Electronics role requires working within the team to optimise the design through trade-offs, studies, analyses, modelling and simulation to produce a best-in-class competitive cutting-edge defence product. Your responsibilities will include:
* Design of circuit assemblies and systems
* Contributing to development of electronic architectures to meet design requirements
* Component and subsystem evaluation
* Creating electronic schematics and working with PCB layout Engineers
* Testing, validation and debug of circuit assemblies
* Carry out development and integration testing of electronic assemblies
* Contribute to electronics specifications, development and verification plans
* Ensuring compliance to regulatory standards
* Support product fault finding and investigation activities
Qualifications
* Degree level qualification in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or related discipline. A lower qualification would be acceptable for example HNC/HND should the candidate be able to demonstrate significant demonstrable experience in lieu
Essential skills
* Demonstrate a good understanding of electronic circuit design
* Understanding of requirements for DFT and DFM
* Be able to demonstrate analytical and problem-solving skills
* Communicate effectively within a diverse, professional environment
* Self-motivated and able to take the initiative
* Outstanding team working skills
Experience
* 10 years post graduate relevant work experience
* Solid, relevant, experience in at least one of the following areas:
o Power Electronics
o Digital Electronics
o Analogue Electronics
o Electronics Architecture
o High Frequency Electronics
* Experience with electronics design and simulation tools
What do I need before I apply
