We are Supreme Autos, we sell quality cars at great value. We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Automotive Mechanic to join our small team on a Freelance as and when required basis. Hours can be flexible to suit the successful Candidate. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and have experience in diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of vehicles. This role requires proficiency with hand tools and power tools. Preference will be given to Applicants with BMW experience. This Position could progress into a Full Time and highly beneficial Position.
Responsibilities
* Diagnose and repair automotive issues using Autel diagnostic equipment and mechanical knowledge
* Perform routine maintenance on vehicles, including oil changes, tyre rotations, and brake inspections
* Utilise hand tools and power tools effectively for repairs and assembly tasks
* Conduct equipment repairs and ensure all work is completed to industry standards
* Assist in heavy lifting of automotive parts and equipment as necessary
* Maintain a clean and organised work environment, ensuring all tools are returned to their proper place
* The work required is only on our own sales vehicles.
* Stay updated with the latest automotive technologies and repair techniques
Requirements
* Proven experience as an Automotive Mechanic or similar role
* Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot various automotive systems
* Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment
* Experience with welding is advantageous but not essential
* Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients
* Physical capability to perform heavy lifting tasks as required
* A valid driver's licence is preferred
