CNC OperatorHourly Rate: £14.89 - £16.06 (depending on experience), with progression through pay gradesRole OverviewWe are seeking a skilled CNC Operator to join our team. The successful candidate will have experience across CNC machining processes and a strong commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement.Key ResponsibilitiesOperate CNC machines in accordance with company standards and production requirementsMaintain strict adherence to health & safety guidelines and 5S workplace standardsPerform machine setup, tooling changes, and datum settingEnsure high-quality output while meeting production targetsSkills & ExperienceEssentialExperience working with OSAI CNC controllers (critical requirement)Strong understanding of CNC machining principlesAbility to carry out tool changes and machine setupDesirable (but not essential)3-Axis CNC Routing Knowledge of 2D sheet metal componentsExperience cutting aluminium materialsExposure to VWM / Technos 38 machines5-Axis CNC Machining Experience setting up fixtures and jigsAbility to set tool datumsFamiliarity with CMS machinesCNC Punching Machine and tool setupExperience working with materials from 0.6mm to 2mmExperience with Amada machines and Fanuc controllersCAD/CAM Software Exposure to Radan, AlphaCAM, or CATIA V5What We're Looking ForStrong attention to detail and qualityAbility to work independently and as part of a teamProactive approach to safety and continuous improvementWillingness to develop skills and progress through pay gradesINDWINOur clients and their customers come from diverse backgrounds and so do we.
