We are seeking a proactive and technically skilled Technical Account Manager to join our team. This role bridges the gap between sales, engineering, and customer service, ensuring client satisfaction through effective account management, accurate quotations, and technical drawing support. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, excellent communication skills, and experience with CAD software.
Responsibilities:
* Serve as the primary contact for assigned customer accounts, ensuring high levels of
satisfaction and retention.
* Develop a deep understanding of customer needs, applications, and technical requirements.
* Prepare detailed and accurate quotations based on customer specifications and project scope.
* Ensure quotations are aligned with company pricing strategies and margin targets.
* Monitor account performance and identify opportunities for growth.
* Follow up on quotations to support conversion and maintain pipeline visibility.
* Create and modify technical drawings using our CPQ software and Auto-CAD.
* Coordinate internally with engineering, production, and logistics to ensure timely and accurate delivery of solutions.
Qualifications & Experience:
* Proven experience in technical account management, sales engineering, or a similar role.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications
* Basic knowledge in CAD software (AutoCAD preferred).
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively.
* Attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Desirable:
* Experience in the marine industry.
* Familiarity with ERP and CRM systems.
* Technical qualification in engineering or industrial design.
