We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Care Assistant to provide high-quality support to individuals within their own homes. Duties
* Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
* Support individuals with daily activities in accordance with care plans
* Help with meal preparation and feeding as required
* Provide companionship and emotional support to clients
* Maintain accurate records of care provided using IT systems
* Communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals
* Support clients in participating in social activities and outings, when necessary
* Follow health and safety protocols to ensure a safe environment for all
Qualifications
* Previous experience working in a care home or providing home care is desirable but not essential; training will be provided
* Valid driving licence is advantageous for supporting clients
* Good understanding of care plans and ability to implement them effectively
* Proficiency in basic IT skills for documentation purposes
* Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal
* Strong interpersonal skills with a caring and empathetic approach
* Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
* Reliable, organised, and able to adapt to changing needs of clients
