Job Overview
TristoneNash is working with a reputable housing provider to recruit a Disrepair Scheduling & Administration Manager on a permanent basis. As a key member of the Damp, Mould & Disrepair Team, you will collaborate with the Senior Surveyor to plan and execute a wide range of complex projects, ensuring cases are managed from inception to completion in accordance with legislative requirements and timescales. You will be the trusted partner for all legal disrepair cases, housing ombudsman investigations, insurance claims, and high-profile complaints.
Key Responsibilities
1. Schedule and record disrepair Pre- and Post-Inspections within SLAs, including sending confirmation letters to customers and relevant parties.
2. Maintain the Case Management Database, provide updates in weekly review meetings, and distribute relevant case documents.
3. Assist the Senior Surveyor in preparing reports and housing condition assessments promptly.
4. Coordinate with the Complaints team on cases involving legal disrepair.
5. Manage disrepair administration and scheduling functions within the team.
6. Serve as the escalation point for stakeholders regarding open disrepair cases and complaints.
7. Attend court proceedings and provide evidence related to cases.
Required Knowledge & Experience
1. Understanding of legal disrepair processes and regulatory obligations.
2. Knowledge of damp, mould, and building defects, including causes and resolutions.
3. Flexible project management skills with proactive communication.
4. Strong communication, administration, and customer service skills.
5. Experience in line managing operational teams.
6. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and in-house database systems.
7. Experience in social housing is advantageous.
