Escape Recruitment are partnering with an established manufacturing client to recruit a Group Buyer responsible for end-to-end purchasing across materials, CAPEX, and indirect spend.
This is a fast-paced, hands-on role supporting operational and project requirements while driving supplier performance and cost efficiency. You will work closely with engineering, operations and internal stakeholders, acting as a key point of contact for procurement across the site.

Key Responsibilities
* Manage end-to-end purchasing activity across site requirements
* Prepare RFQs, tenders, and cost comparisons
* Develop and manage supplier relationships and performance
* Expedite deliveries to meet operational deadlines
* Drive cost reduction and sourcing improvements
* Support lean supply chain initiatives
* Resolve supplier and invoice queries
* Mentor junior team members
Knowledge and experience required for the role:
* Proven procurement experience ideally within a manufacturing environment
* Strong supplier management and negotiation skills
* Experience with tender processes and contract administration
* Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
* ERP system experience
* CIPS qualified or studying towards (desirable)
* Full UK driving licence
* Team player with a proactive, positive approach
