Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Community Care Support Worker to join our well-established care team in Stamford (PE9). You will be supporting a client living with Motor Neurone Disease (MND) in a warm and welcoming home environment. The client has a rich personal history and a strong sense of independence. Communication is central to their care, and staff must be quick to learn and proficient in using an E-Tran board to ensure effective interaction.
Key Responsibilities and Skills Required: Provide high-quality, person-centred care with empathy and respect Support with advanced clinical needs including PEG, tracheostomy, NIV, oral suction, bowel care, pulse oximetry, medication administration (including rectal), pressure area care, and buccal midazolam Engage with our client's interests, including food planning, sports, and technology Promote autonomy and involve client in all aspects of care and decision-making Ensure continuity and consistency in care delivery
