Salary: NJC Grade F SCP 19-24 £31,067 - £34,314 (pro rata for part time) per annum

Our children’s services team is leading the way with exciting developments to further improve the lives of children and families. The Family Hubs in Blackpool bring together a range of services for children aged 0-19 (25 with SEND), including the Start for Life offer.
As a result, we want a Family Support Worker to work within our family hubs to deliver the family hub and start for life offer.
The Family Hub Worker will deliver and support and signpost families and other agencies in Blackpool to access services and support development of new services. The role will have a key focus in ensuring that services are available which support parents interactions from pregnancy and into parenthood within the areas of Parent-Infant relationships.

* experience of working with children under five and their families
* an understanding of the work and role of Family Hubs and of the Early Years and Child Development
* good communications skills both written and verbal

The successful applicant will be required to work outside of a 7am to 8pm Monday to Friday work pattern and will receive an additional payment on top of the quoted salary as a result.
