Job Description
3. Manage and maintain the cost accounting system.
4. Analyse cost variances and provide detailed reports to management.
5. Perform inventory valuation and cost analysis.
6. Collaborate with the manufacturing team to identify cost-saving opportunities.
7. Assist in budget preparation and financial forecasting.
8. Comply with all relevant accounting regulations and standards.
9. Coordinate with the finance team to complete month-end and year-end close processes.
10. Participate in internal and external audits as required.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Cost Accountant should have:
11. A strong educational background in accounting or finance.
12. Proficiency in cost accounting and financial analysis.
13. Excellent knowledge of accounting software and MS Office Suite.
14. Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills.
15. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
16. Ability to work collaboratively within a team setting.
17. High level of integrity and reliability.
