Aspire People is currently seeking a motivated and passionate Geography Teacher to join one of our secondary schools on a temporary, full-time basis starting January 2026. This is an exciting opportunity to inspire students and deliver engaging Geography lessons in a supportive school environment.
Responsibilities
* Teach Geography across Key Stages 3 and 4, following the national curriculum
* Plan, deliver, and assess high-quality lessons that cater to a range of abilities
* Maintain a positive and well-managed classroom environment
* Support students\' academic and personal development
* Collaborate with colleagues and contribute to departmental planning and school initiatives
Requirements
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
* Experience teaching Geography at secondary level
* Strong subject knowledge and excellent classroom management skills
* A current DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply for one through Aspire People if not already held)
