Job Title: Social Worker - Community Led Support Team 1 Salary: £39,027- £44,463 per annum Grade: E Contract Type: Fixed-Term Contract (or Internal Secondment) - 12 months (Maternity Cover) Working Hours: 37 hours per week We are seeking a committed individual to join us as Social Worker in the Community Led Support Team 1 (CLS Team 1) on a 12-month contract to provide maternity cover. This role is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the Community Led Support Team 1 within the Adults and Health Directorate of the Council. You will be required to provide support for adults and a multi-disciplinary team of Care and Health Professionals. Job Purpose - To safeguard vulnerable adults. - To provide high quality, research-based casework service to all Adult Social Care service users and hold cases. - To offer consultation, support, specialist advice and joint working to colleagues within Adult Social Care. - To promote independent living where safe to do so. - To comply with and promote legislation, statutory guidance and local policies and procedures Essential Qualifications and Experience: The post-holder will need to have: - A Social Work qualification - Registration with Social Work England (SWE). - In-depth knowledge of legislation and statutory guidance relevant to working in Adults Services. - At least two years' experience of directly working with adults and families with a range of disabilities and support needs.
