Property MLS Senior Lawyer (4-10 years’ PQE)

The Opportunity: We are recruiting a Property MLS Senior Lawyer (4-10 years’ PQE in English law) with strong asset management experience to join our growing Property Managed Legal Services (MLS) team. This role is ideal for an experienced lawyer who enjoys hands‑on asset management work and regular client interaction. You’ll play an important part in supporting legal delivery across client portfolios, providing high‑quality technical input within a progressive and evolving service model.
What You’ll Do
* Act as a senior legal advisor, working closely with clients’ in‑house legal, estates and operational teams to deliver a seamless, trusted and proactive service.
* Lead negotiation, drafting and oversight of a wide range of asset management documents, including leases, licences, variations, surrenders, extensions, consents and related agreements.
* Work collaboratively as part of a team of legal professionals, sharing expertise in asset management and fostering a high‑performance culture.
* Support effective portfolio management by ensuring compliance with the legal, regulatory and operational requirements of a managed legal service.
* Manage matters efficiently with clients and internal colleagues, providing clear, practical advice aligned to commercial objectives and portfolio strategy.
About You
* Qualification as a lawyer with 4-10 years’ PQE in English law, preferably gained within a busy asset management team.
* Extensive experience working with complex asset management portfolios or large client accounts.
* Experience of commercial acquisitions/plot sales (advantageous but not essential).
* Exceptional negotiation, communication and interpersonal skills.
* A solution‑focused, commercially minded approach, with the ability to understand client priorities and tailor advice accordingly.
* Confidence using legal technology platforms and digital tools to manage portfolios, track performance and compliance, and support data‑driven decision making.
