Office Manager | West Hallam | Permanent | £28,000 - £32,000
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Office Manager to join a well-established and growing business based in West Hallam, Derbyshire. This is a key role within the organisation, responsible for ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the office and providing essential support across the business.
The Role
As Office Manager, you will oversee office operations and act as a central point of contact for staff, suppliers, and visitors. Responsibilities will include:
Managing daily office administration and procedures
Coordinating facilities, supplies, and office services
Supporting senior management with administrative tasks including operations and finance
Producing various reports for management
Working on any ongoing projects to improve the business during this time of growth
Being a point of initial contract for visitors and customers
Managing relationships with external suppliers and contractors
Handling health & safety and compliance -related administration
Supporting basic financeadministration as required during busy times
Helping finance with payroll / payroll queries
About You
To succeed in this role, you will:
Have previous experience in an Office Manager or senior administrative role if you have any previous finance experience that would be a real plus but isnt essential
Be highly organised with strong attention to detail
Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Be confident managing multiple priorities in a busy environment
Have good IT skills, including MS Office especially being confident with Excel
Be proactive, reliable, and able to work independently
They are a really friendly supportive company with very little staff turnover. Its a real family feel where everyone will pitch in to help where is needed and supporting each other is very important to their ethos. They are offering a salary of £28,000 - £32,000 depending on experience, it is on site every day, hours are 9:00am - 5:00pm, Monday to Friday with 30 minutes for lunch.
