Job Summary A leader in the provision of fire protection services is looking for an experienced Fire Door Engineer/Carpenter to join their team on a full time, permanent basis. You will be working on social housing projects carrying out installations works. The works will be based across East Anglia with multiple sites across Norwich and Great Yarmouth, and will cover both internal and external door works. There will be aspects of the role where you will be working around members or the public, including but not exclusive to FED's, corridor doors, riser cupboards and access panels. Responsibilities * Installing 1 or 2 single fire door sets per day * Complete works in line with the manufacture’s specification * Document works on a step-by-step basis, ensuring evidence is taken accurately * Problem solving and being able to overcome unforeseen issues with the work * Liaise with customers and members of the general public What's on offer? * Full time, permanent role with company benefits package * Productivity bonus, compliance bonus & H&S bonus – OTE up to £60k * Vehicle, fuel card * Starting salary from £40,000 p/a * Paired with a labourer – no lone working Requirements * At least 2 years’ experience working with fire doors * NVQ or equivalent in carpentry and joinery * Experience installing fire doors and frames, full sets and full assemblies * Full UK driving license * Experience in fault finding or pre-inspections * 3rd party accreditation/registration under the FIRAS scheme (desired) If you are interested in this opportunity, please submit your application by applying via this advert and one of the ProGroup team will be in touch.
