Job Vacancy: Youth Worker Looking for a Teaching Assisant role
We’re looking for a caring, approachable, and motivated Youth Worker to support students academically, socially, and emotionally. This role is ideal for someone with a youth‑work approach who enjoys helping young people grow in confidence and succeed in school.
Key Responsibilities
* Support students in class and during small‑group or 1:1 sessions
* Build positive relationships and provide pastoral support
* Assist with behaviour management and promote positive routines
* Help create an inclusive and engaging learning environment
* Work closely with teachers to support student progress
About You
* Empathetic, patient, and confident working with young people
* Able to support behaviour in a positive, calm manner
* Good communicator and team player
* Experience in youth work, support work, or education is a bonus
