You'll play a key part in verifying and validating embedded software used in high-integrity, real-world applications. Expect to work across the full lifecycle from requirement analysis through to test execution and final qualification ensuring systems meet the strictest standards of safety, robustness, and functionality.
What you'll be doing:
Designing and executing rigorous verification and validation strategies for embedded software.
Creating test plans, test cases, and automated test suites.
Performing both functional and non functional testing, including robustness, performance, and stress testing.
Collaborating closely with software, systems, and hardware engineers to ensure seamless integration.
Contributing to continuous improvement of test frameworks, tools, and methodologies.
Documenting results clearly to support technical reviews, audits, and certification activities.
Experience needed:
Strong experience in embedded software testing, V&V, or safety-critical systems.
A solid understanding of embedded C/C++, real-time systems, or low-level software behaviour.
Familiarity with structured test processes, requirements-based testing, and automated test environments.
Ability to interpret technical specifications and translate them into high-quality test artefacts.
A proactive mindset and passion for quality engineering excellence.
