Quality Inspector / Inspection Technician required for Gloucester (GL1) based manufacturing company. Working 36 hours Monday - Thursday (7.30am to 5pm), paying up to £35k
Our client is a well-respected manufacturing company with a long-standing history in the Gloucester area and a diverse range of clients ranging from Gas & Oil, Green Energy, Nuclear, Defence and Pharmaceutical.
This is a great opportunity for someone that is looking to become a Quality Engineer.
The role of Quality Inspector/ Inspection Technician will involve, but is not restricted to the following duties:
First off and final inspection of manufactured parts
Review completed supplier generated FAI's
Completion of internal quality audits to ISO 9001:2015
Uploading quality certification to ERP system
Help create work instructions and SOP's
Support internal root cause analysis
The successful Quality Inspector/ Inspection Technician will be able to demonstrate the following skills:
Experience gained within a mechanical engineering background
Experience working within a ISO9001:2015 certified organisation
Ability to read and interrogate engineering drawings
Experience of working with conventional inspection equipment
Ability to work with both imperial and metric measurements
