Are you a recent sports graduate looking to gain hands-on experience in a vibrant school environment? Teaching Personnel is working with a secondary school in Portsmouth seeking an enthusiastic and committed Sports Graduate Assistant to join their team from September until August next year.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Support the delivery of high-quality coaching across sports such as netball, hockey, rugby, cricket, athletics, and racket sports.
2. Assist in planning, organising, and delivering PE lessons, training sessions, and fixtures under the guidance of the Director of Sport, Assistant Director of Sport, and Head of PE.
3. Contribute to the wider life of the school’s sports department, including attending and supporting fixtures, tournaments, and sports events.
4. Work with pupils and teams to support their skill development and enjoyment of sport.
Candidate Requirements:
1. A passion for sport and physical education with the ability to inspire young people.
2. Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
3. Willingness to work flexibly, including after school hours and on Saturdays during term time.
4. Experience in coaching or playing in one or more of the listed sports is advantageous.

All pay rates are inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This is a temporary position, with potential for future permanency.
