Documentation is accurate, up to date, and correctly uploaded into the system. Support the team during periods of absence or holidays. Attend customer meetings and identify opportunities to promote additional services. Assist with training and knowledge sharing across the team. Meet tight deadlines while maintaining high attention to detail. Support continuous improvement initiatives within the import function. Perform other duties as required for the smooth and efficient operation of the department.
Required Skills & Experience
* GCSEs (or equivalent) in Maths and English - Grade 4/C or above.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Strong working knowledge of ASM Sequoia and CargoWise systems.
* Solid experience with: Home Use / CFSP / Warehousing / Bonds / T1's / NCTS, Incoterms and freight rate calculations, Profiles and rate structures.
* Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
* Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
* Ability to build effective working relationships with colleagues and customers.
* Positive, proactive attitude with a commitment to delivering excellent service.

Key Responsibilities
* Manage all aspects of the import process from start to finish.
* Complete customs procedures accurately and on time to meet internal and regulatory deadlines.
* Liaise with customers, internal teams, and third parties to ensure all necessary information is communicated effectively.
* Resolve minor customer issues, disputes, and complaints in a professional manner.
